Ryan Field

Ryan Field is the CEO of Kernel, a neurotechnology company dedicated to building actionable insights from high-quality brain data. He has been with Kernel since 2018, previously leading the Kernel Flow team and serving as CTO, where he oversaw the concept, design, and development of the category-defining Kernel Flow brain-imaging system. Before joining Kernel, he spent three years at Quanergy, most recently as Director of ASIC Engineering. Prior to that, he worked as a Research Scientist at Intel Corporation. Ryan Field is an inventor with more than 20 granted US patents and a published researcher with over a decade of experience in complex sensing systems. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University.
