Alejandro Cacace

Speaker at the St. Gallen Symposium

Alejandro Cacace has served as Secretary of Deregulation for the Government of Argentina since 2025. In this role, he contributes to implementing structural reforms aimed at reducing economic distortions and fostering a fair and competitive market environment. He works on deregulation policies, government reform initiatives and legislative coordination designed to promote economic freedom and job creation. Prior to this appointment, he served as Undersecretary for Structural Reforms and was previously a Member of the National Congress of Argentina as well as Parliamentary Secretary for the Minority in the Chamber of Deputies. Earlier in his political career, he served as Representative of the Province of San Luis in the provincial Chamber of Deputies. In parallel, he has been Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the Universidad Nacional de San Luis for over 16 years and is also Senior Partner at Estudio Cacace, Estrada y Asociados. He holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government and a Master in Law and Economics from the University of Bologna.
