Prof. Gudrun Sander

Prof. Gudrun Sander is a Professor of Business Administration and Senior Lecturer with a special emphasis on Diversity Management. She is currently the Director of the Competence Centre for Diversity, Disability and Inclusion (CCDI) and the Institute for International Management and Diversity Management (IIDM) at the University of St.Gallen. For the past three decades, she has been committed to inclusion and equity in research, practice, teaching, and further education. Prof. Sander initiated the St.Gallen Diversity Benchmarking and the Gender Intelligence Report, and launched the management training “Aiming Higher: Karriereentwicklung für Assistenzärztinnen.” She is a speaker in executive education, particularly in company-specific workshops and training sessions on topics such as Unconscious Bias and Inclusive Leadership. In addition to her work at HSG, Prof. Sander is a member of the Women’s Empowerment Principles Leadership Group (WEPs LG) of UN Women and the UN Global Compact, as well as the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Working Group for Gender Equality. She earned her PhD from the University of St.Gallen.
