See Leng Tan has served as Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore since 2021. Previously, he held the positions of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Trade and Industry, and Second Minister for Manpower from 2020. A veteran medical practitioner, Minister Tan was Group CEO and Managing Director at IHH Healthcare Berhad from 2014 to 2019, one of the globally largest listed integrated healthcare providers. He concurrently held the roles of CEO and Managing Director of Parkway Pantai from 2011 to 2019. In the early 1990s, Minister Tan founded Healthway Medical Group in Singapore and was its CEO from 1992 to 2003. Moreover, he served on the boards of several medical committees and on the Advisory board of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business at the Singapore Management University. Minister Tan attained a Master of Medicine from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
