Nadine Keßler

Speaker at the St. Gallen Symposium

Nadine Kessler is the current Managing Director of Women’s Football at UEFA and a former German international midfield player. As the Managing Director of Women’s Football, Ms Kessler is responsible for the strategic direction of the sport and leads all women’s competitions at European level as well as all projects aiming to develop the women’s game. In 2014, Ms Kessler was named the winner of the FIFA World Player of the year and UEFA Best Women’s Player in Europe award. Ms Kessler is a three-time winner of UEFA Women’s Champions League whilst playing for Vfl Wolfsburg and FFC Turbine Potsdam. Furthermore, she has been part of the winning teams in four German domestic championships and two German domestic cups. At an international level, she helped the German national team win at the UEFA Women’s European Championship in 2013.
