Fridtjof Detzner

Fridtjof Detzner is a Co-Founder and General Partner of Planet A Ventures, an impact investment firm dedicated to providing early-stage financing and mentoring to highly scalable green technology startups while tracking and projecting their positive environmental impact. He is also a Co-Founder and current board member at Jimdo, a platform that has empowered over 25 million individuals to create their own websites. Additionally, since 2022, he has been a member of the Sustainable Finance Committee of the German government. In 2017, Fridtjof produced a ten-part TV documentary in collaboration with "Deutsche Welle", documenting the world's progress toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Witnessing the harsh reality of the climate crisis and human-caused environmental degradation inspired him to channel his time and energy into sustainability efforts.
