Fabian Takacs

Fabian Takacs is a post-doctoral researcher and project manager at the University of St.Gallen’s Institute of Management and Strategy. His research focuses on sustainable transformation, circular economy, and business model innovation. At the IfB Competence Center for Circular Economy, Business Models, and Sustainable Transformation, Mr Takacs is establishing the interdisciplinary and practice-oriented Circular Lab, a platform for developing circular and sustainable solutions in the Lake Constance region. Additionally, he is a co-developer of the Circular Navigator, a practice-oriented methodology for creating circular business models. In 2020, with Prof. Karolin Frankenberger and Prof. Oliver Gassmann, he received the HSG Impact Award for impactful research with societal relevance. Mr Takacs holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Zurich, a Master’s degree in Political Economy from the University of Lucerne, and his PhD focussing on circular business models from the University of St.Gallen.
