Prof. Miriam Meckel is Co-Founder and CEO of ada Learning, a start-up for continuing education in technology and future skills. She is also Professor of Communication Management at the University of St. Gallen and Director at the Institute for Media and Communication Management. From 2014 - 2019, she was Editor-in-Chief and Publisher of WirtschaftsWoche. At Harvard's "Berkman Center for Internet & Society", Meckel was a Faculty Associate for several years and has held numerous visiting positions at various universities worldwide. Previously, she was State Secretary in the portfolio of the Minister President of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. Miriam Meckel received the Cicero Speaker Award in the category of science, published numerous books, scientific journal articles and journalistic articles. She was part of the "European Asian Young Leaders Forum" and was awarded the Eisenhower Fellowship of the USA and the John F. Kennedy Memorial Fellowship at the Center for European Studies at Harvard University.
