Prof. Manuel Ammann

Prof. Manuel Ammann is a renowned scholar in finance, currently serving as a Professor of Finance and Director of the Swiss Institute for Banking and Finance at the University of St. Gallen. With a focus on derivatives, asset management, financial markets, and risk management, Prof. Ammann is widely recognized for his significant contributions to the field. In addition to his academic work, Prof. Ammann is a respected business leader, serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Algofin AG and Neue Bank AG, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Galler Kantonalbank. Prof. Ammann holds an undergraduate degree in computer science from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, and a doctorate in finance from the University of St. Gallen. He has also served as the Dean of the School of Finance at the University of St. Gallen and as a visiting professor at esteemed institutions such as New York University and the University of California-Berkeley.
