Marco Alverà

Marco Alverà is CEO of TES-H2, a worldwide champion for green hydrogen and a disruptive innovator in the energy system that is developing the first world-class European Green Energy Hub in Wilhelmshaven, Germany. Before assuming his current position in 2022, Mr. Alverà was CEO of Snam from 2016 to 2022, where he positioned the company as an international leader in green gas and green gas infrastructure. Between 2005 and 2015, Mr. Alverà held several senior positions at Eni, including Chief Retail Market Gas & Power. He is the author of “The Hydrogen Revolution”, selected as one of the FT’s best books of the year in 2021, and since 2017 he has been non-executive director of S&P Global, where he is also chair of the Finance Committee.
