Oliver Blume

Dr. Oliver Blume has served as Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG since September 2022. From 2015 to the end of 2025, he served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche AG, and since 2018, he has been a Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG. In his current role, he leads the strategic direction of one of the world’s largest automotive groups, overseeing global operations, innovation, and transformation. He has been with the Volkswagen Group since 1994, beginning his career in the international trainee program at AUDI AG and holding multiple senior leadership roles across production, logistics, and planning. Dr. Blume earned his Doctor of Engineering in Vehicle Engineering from Tongji University.
