Prof. Sun Xuefeng

Prof. Sun Xuefeng is Professor and Executive Deputy Dean at Tsinghua University’s Institute of International Relations and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Chinese Journal of International Politics (Oxford University Press). He previously chaired the department until 2018. His work focuses on China’s foreign policy, East Asian regional dynamics, and broader theoretical debates. He is the author of numerous books and articles, including Dilemma of China’s Rise and International Legitimacy and Transformation of China’s Neighborhood Policy. Since 2011, he has also served as a board member of the International Journal of Diplomacy and Economy. He holds a B.A. and M.A. from the Institute of International Relations and a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University.
