Marco Lavazza

Marco Lavazza is Vice Chairman of Lavazza Group, a family-owned global coffee company headquartered in Turin. In this role, he oversees key strategic areas including operations, sales, and mergers & acquisitions, contributing to the company’s international expansion and positioning. He joined the company’s Board of Directors in 2002 and has since gained extensive managerial experience across core business functions, including coffee sourcing, operations, and commercial development, before being appointed Vice Chairman in 2011. Prior to joining Lavazza, he worked at the University of Nevada’s International Business Department and in marketing at the Ferrero Group. In addition to his executive role, he is active in industry associations. He serves on the General Board of Confindustria and has held several leadership roles within the organization. He was Chairman of Unione Italiana Food until 2023 and is Vice Chairman of the Unione Industriali Torino. Marco Lavazza holds a bachelor’s degree from the School of Management at the University of Turin.
