Lord Brian Griffiths of Fforestfach

Lord Brian Griffiths of Fforestfach is a member of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament and the former Vice-Chairman of Goldman Sachs International. In his roles in finance and public policy, Lord Griffiths has shaped economic strategy at the highest levels, including advising on domestic policymaking in the UK. Previously, he taught at the London School of Economics, became Professor at City University, and later served as Dean of its Business School. He also served as a Director of the Bank of England, as Head of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit, and was the special advisor to the Prime Minister for domestic policy making. He has been recognised for his long-standing contributions to economic policy and public service. Lord Griffiths serves as one of three Conference Chairpersons of the St. Gallen Symposium.
