Carsten Maschmeyer

Carsten Maschmeyer is a German entrepreneur, investor and author, and the founder of the Maschmeyer Group, ALSTIN Capital and seed + speed Ventures. He is widely known as an investor on the German entrepreneurship TV show Die Höhle der Löwen since 2016. Maschmeyer began his career at OVB Vermögensberatung, where he rose to become a regional director, before acquiring a majority stake in AWD and shaping the development of independent financial advisory services in Germany. He later served on the Board of Directors of Swiss Life until 2011. He is also the author of several bestselling books and maintains a portfolio of more than 140 startup investments across Europe and the United States.
