Suneeta Reddy

Speaker at the St. Gallen Symposium

Dr Suneeta Reddy is the Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals. Since assuming leadership in 1989, Apollo Hospitals has flourished as Asia’s most trusted integrated healthcare provider. Her strategic insight and deep commitment have enabled the group to extend compassionate care to over 150 million people across 140 countries, firmly establishing its position as a global leader in healthcare. Moreover, Dr Reddy was instrumental in introducing foreign direct investment into India’s healthcare sector and led Apollo’s successful entry into international equity markets. Under her guidance, the organisation has set new benchmarks in clinical excellence, adopting cutting-edge protocols and fostering a culture of innovation. Her influence extends beyond Apollo through significant contributions to various boards and councils. She participated in the High-Level Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Pandemic Prevention, Preparedness and Response at the UN Headquarters in New York. She previously served as President of the India International Chamber of Commerce and currently serves as President of the All-India Management Association (AIMA), reflecting her commitment to advancing healthcare and management practices. She also represents Apollo Hospitals as a founding member of the Global Parity Alliance of the World Economic Forum in India, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dr Reddy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stella Maris College, Chennai, and a Diploma in Financial Management from the Institute of Financial Management and Research, Chennai. She is also an alumna of the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School, Boston, and holds an honorary doctorate in Business Management from XIMB Bhubaneswar.
