Mredul Sarda is a Founding Partner at Riceberg Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in deep tech startups across India, Europe, and the US. Prior to launching Riceberg, he was the first strategy hire at Slice Money, where he played a key role in scaling the fintech startup from a $60 million to a $1.6 billion valuation within two years. He began his career at Booz & Company, advising clients such as Tata Communications, Raymond, and NPCI on strategic transformation projects. In addition to his work in venture capital, Mredul is an active angel investor and startup advisor, having supported over 15 companies and helped founders raise more than $20 million in early-stage capital. He holds a dual degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Deep Learning from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, where he was part of the team that launched Pratham, India’s first student satellite.
