Hubert Büchel

Hubert Büchel has served as Regierungsrat of the Ministry for the Interior, Economy and Sport of the Principality of Liechtenstein since April 2025. Prior to his current role, he was CEO of GN Finance AG and founder of Büchel Advisory GmbH. He also served as Chief Markets Officer and a member of the executive board at Mason Privatbank, as well as Chief Customer Officer and Head of Private Banking at Bank Frick. Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions in private banking and portfolio management at several financial institutions in Vaduz, including Banque Pasche Liechtenstein, Serica Bank, and the Liechtensteinische Landesbank.

Mr Büchel has been active in various public and civic roles, including as a deputy member of the Liechtenstein Parliament and its EWR/EFTA and Council of Europe delegations. He is also a board member of the Liechtenstein Football Association and treasurer of the FC Ruggell supporters' association.

Mr Büchel holds an Executive MBA in Wealth Management from the University of Liechtenstein and completed advanced studies in Private Banking at the Hochschule Liechtenstein
