Roger Stilz

Speaker at the St. Gallen Symposium

Roger Stilz serves as Sporting Director of FC St.Gallen 1879. Before assuming this role, he held similar positions at SK Beveren in Belgium and later at SV Jahn Regensburg in the 2. Bundesliga. Mr Stilz’s journey in football began as a professional player in Switzerland, spanning a decade. Transitioning to coaching, he served as the Head of SC Victoria Hamburg’s youth academy and coach from 2007 to 2013. He then was an assistant coach at Hamburger SV (1. Bundesliga) from 2013 to 2014 and 1. FC Nürnberg (2. Bundesliga) from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2020, Mr Stilz led the youth academy of FC St. Pauli and was a member of their board from 2019 to 2020. Mr Stilz holds a UEFA Pro License and a Master's degree in German Studies.
