Matthias Tauber

Matthias Tauber has been leading Boston Consulting Group’s operations across Europe, Middle East, South America, and Africa since 2022, holding the position of Managing Director and Senior Partner since 2012. Prior to his current role, he served as the Head of BCG Germany, Austria, Central and Eastern Europe from 2019 to 2022. Mr Tauber’s client work focuses on large-scale change programs with clients in the building materials, metals and mining, and chemicals industries. He has led digital transformations, M&As, and post-merger integrations, as well as stand-alone transformation programs. Mr Tauber earned his B.A. in Civil Engineering from Vienna University of Technology and holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
