Lord Brian Griffiths of Fforestfach

Lord Griffiths of Fforestfach is a member of the House of Lords in the UK Parliament and the former Vice-Chairman of Goldman Sachs International. He was educated and afterward taught at the London School of Economics from 1965 to 1976, became Professor at City University in 1976 and held the position of Dean of the University’s Business School from 1982 to 1985. He served as a Director of the Bank of England from 1983 to 1985, Head of the Prime Minister’s Policy Unit from 1985 to 1990, and was the special advisor to the Prime Minister for Domestic Policy Making. Lord Brian Griffiths serves as one of three Conference Chairpersons of the St. Gallen Symposium.
