Hans Christoph Atzpodien

Hans Christoph Atzpodien has been a board member of the Federation of German Security and Defence Industries (BDSV – Bundesverband der Deutschen Sicherheits- und Verteidigungsindustrie) since its establishment in 2009 and has served as its CEO since 2017. BDSV is dedicated to representing the interests of the German Security and Defence Industry both nationally and internationally, with the goal of enhancing their visibility. Before assuming his current role, Mr Atzpodien held several leading positions at ThyssenKrupp. This included serving as a board member of the business area Industrial Solutions and as Chairman of their Marine Systems division until 2016. Mr Atzpodien earned a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Bonn, Germany.
