Antoine Bernard

A lawyer and recognised expert and practitioner in human rights, international justice and NGOs, Antoine Bernard is the Director for Advocacy, Strategic Litigation and Assistance of Reporters Without Borders (RSF). A faculty member of the Sciences Po Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA), he is the co-director of the Master in human rights and humanitarian action. Also a member of the French National Consultative Commission on Human Rights, he sits on the boards of directors of La Maison des Femmes de Saint Denis and the Syrian Center for Media and Freedom of Expression. Previously CEO of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH), Associate Researcher at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Justice (IHEJ), a jury member of the Simone Veil Prize of the French Republic for gender equality and a member of the World Movement for Democracy Steering Committee.
