Thierry Burkart

Thierry Burkart has been the President of the Free Democratic Party of Switzerland (FDP) since 2021 and has been a member of the national council as of 2015 until 2019 and a member of the council of states since 2019. He advocates for individual freedom, economic liberalism, and international cooperation. Prior to his political career, he worked as a lawyer, and he holds a Law Degree from the University of St. Gallen and Lausanne.
