Johannes Teyssen

Johannes Teyssen is a German business executive who has been Chairman of the Board of Directors at Alpiq since 2022. Before joining Alpiq, he was the CEO and Chairman of the Management Board at E.ON SE from 2010 until April 2021 and served as the Chief Operating Officer and Deputy CEO at E.ON SE from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, Mr. Teyssen previously held executive positions at E.ON Energie Ltd., including CEO of the European Division from 2003 to 2007 and CFO from 2001 to 2003. He is also a Director at BP plc in London, Viridor plc in Taunton, United Kingdom, and a Senior Advisor at KKR plc in London. Teyssen holds a Juris Doctor Degree from the Georg August University of Goettingen, Germany, and studied Law and Economics at the Universities of Freiburg and Goettingen, Germany.
