Tabata Amaral

Tabata Amaral is a Federal Deputy representing the state of São Paulo in Brazil's Chamber of Deputies and a member of the Brazilian Socialist Party (PSB). In the Chamber of Deputies, she has served on the Education Commission, the Commission for the Defense of Women's Rights, and as an alternate member of the Science and Technology, Communication and Informatics Commission. Outside of her responsibilities as a Federal Deputy, Ms. Amaral has co-founded several organisations, including Vontade de Aprender Olímpica, which prepares Brazilian students to compete in international olympiads, and Movimento Mapa Educação, which promotes education equality in Brazil. In 2019, she was on the TIME 100 Next List and one of BBC’s 100 most influential women in the world.
