Esther Wojcicki

Speaker at the St. Gallen Symposium

Esther Wojcicki is an internationally renowned educator, consultant, and global best-selling author. She is the Vice Chair of Creative Commons, Founder of The Trick Method, and CEO of Global Moonshots in Education, which is committed to empowering all learners with the heart, mindset, and skills necessary to address the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. Ms. Wojcicki has also been intimately involved with Google and GoogleEdu since its inception, where she was one of the leaders in setting up the Google Teacher Academy. For over 38 years, she has been a teacher at Palo Alto High School, California, where she founded the Media Arts Program at Palo Alto High School and built one of the largest student journalism programs in the United States. Mother to three daughters (the former CEO of Youtube, a Fulbright-awarded anthropologist and the co-founder of 23andMe), Ms. Wojcicki has recently published the book “How to Raise Successful People”.
