Ayọ Tometi is an award-winning human rights champion, social entrepreneur and co-creator of #BlackLivesMatter, a movement nominated for a 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. Tometi is the first woman to receive the International Peace Honor in 2021, and has graced multiple TIME Magazine covers, including 100 Most of the Influential Women of the Last Century and 100 Most Influential People of the Year. Hailed as a new civil rights leader by both the grassroots and major media organizations such as CNN, BBC and the LA Times, she is respected for her track record as a millennial thought leader. While Tometi was the architect of #BlackLivesMatter social media in the early days she is now a sought-after consultant and trusted advisor for many companies, organizations and initiatives in the US and around the globe.
