Aimee Donnellan is Associate Editor at Reuters Breakingviews, where she has worked since 2017. Reuters Breakingviews is the financial commentary arm of Reuters, providing analysis on global business, finance and economic developments. In her role, she focuses on sectors including pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and insurance, shaping editorial perspectives and in-depth analysis. Previously, she served as Banking Correspondent at The Sunday Times and reported on bond markets at the International Financing Review. In addition to her journalism, she is the author of Off the Scales (2026), examining the global race to address obesity. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and History from the University of Galway and a diploma in journalism from the London School of Journalism.
