Barbara Bleisch

Barbara Bleisch has been a philosopher and journalist at SRF – Swiss Radio and Television since 2010 and a columnist for the Tages-Anzeiger since 2018. In these roles, she contributes philosophical commentary and public discourse through broadcast media and print journalism. Alongside her media work, she has been active in academic research, including as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich from 2014 to 2017. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bern and briefly served as Senior Researcher at Queen’s University Belfast. She is also active as a keynote speaker on philosophical and societal topics. Barbara Bleisch holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Zurich and studied at the University of Basel and the University of Tübingen as part of exchange programmes.
