Patrick Horber

Patrick Horber is President of the International Unit at Novartis, where he focuses on strengthening and growing the company’s business across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Canada and Latin America. In this role, he oversees regional strategy, performance and long-term growth across diverse healthcare markets. Previously, he joined Novartis from AbbVie, where he served as Senior Vice President and President, Immunology, leading the global immunology strategy and U.S. execution, including the successful launch of major therapies. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at Roche across multiple therapeutic areas and began his professional career in healthcare consulting at A.T. Kearney. In addition, he serves as a board member of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA), where he is Vice-Chair of the Patient Access Committee, and as a board member of economiesuisse. He holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Zurich.
