Tytti Tuppurainen

Tytti Tuppurainen has been a Member of the Finnish Parliament since 2011 and serves as Leader of the Social Democratic Parliamentary Group. She previously held national office as Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering from 2019 to 2023, following earlier roles including Second Deputy Chairperson of Parliament’s Grand Committee on EU Affairs. Before entering parliament, she worked in research and project management at the Oulu University of Applied Sciences. She has also held numerous leadership positions across regional, political and civil-society organisations. Tytti Tuppurainen holds a Master’s degree in Philosophy from the University of Oulu.
