Prof. Marcus Schögel

Prof. Marcus Schögel, Institute for Marketing and Customer Insight (IMC-HSG), serves as the Academic Director of the English-language Master’s in Marketing Management programme at the University of St.Gallen (HSG). His research and teaching focus on customer centricity and strategic marketing, as well as the management of customer experiences. Following his research stay as a visiting professor in Singapore in 2013, Prof. Schögel has led the Customer Centricity Competence Centre at SGI-HSG in Singapore. He has published numerous papers, articles, and books, and his teaching excellence has earned him two nominations for the “Credit Suisse Award for Best Teaching”. Since 2022, Prof. Schögel has served as President of the Foundation Board of the Swiss Marketing Society gfm.
