Prof. Manuel Ammann

Prof. Manuel Ammann has served as President of the University of St.Gallen since February 2024. Prior to assuming this role, he served as Dean of the School of Finance of the University of St.Gallen, Director of the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance, Academic Director of HSG’s master program in banking and finance, and Chairman and member of several governing boards of university institutes. As a Professor of Finance, Prof. Ammann’s research interests include derivative securities, asset management, financial markets, and risk management. Prof. Ammann earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia and a PhD in Finance from the University of St.Gallen.
