Joo-Ran Schärer

Speaker at the St. Gallen Symposium

Joo-Ran Schärer is a Member of the 55th International Students’ Committee (ISC) at the St. Gallen Symposium. She joined the ISC in September 2025, initially managing partnerships and relations in Switzerland, with a focus on Legal, Pharma, Logistics and Foundations. Since February 2026, she has also joined the Marketing & Communications team, contributing to the visual identity and documentation of the Symposium. Through her work at the Symposium, she particularly values the opportunity to take on significant responsibility at an early stage and to be part of a strong and supportive community. She is currently finishing a bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of St. Gallen. Outside of her academic and professional life, she is passionate about drawing and bringing laughter to people’s faces.
