Benedetta Berti

Benedetta Berti has served as Secretary General of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. From 2018 to 2025, Benedetta Berti directed Policy Planning in the Office of the NATO Secretary General. She serves as a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe and has held fellowships at the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). She has been recognized as a TED Senior Fellow and an Eisenhower Global Fellow. She holds a PhD and an MA in International Security Studies from The Fletcher School at Tufts University, and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Bologna.
