My name is Effie. I am an impact entrepreneur and a champion for the financial inclusion and economic empowerment of women, from Nairobi, Kenya. I am also a student in the EMMIE program that is curated for individuals similarly passionate about navigating the impact entrepreneurship space. Specifically, I enjoy working with women from lower socioeconomic backgrounds acting as a bridge between them and decent work. Ethan McAndrews is from Indiana, USA, and holds degrees from Indiana University in International Studies and East Asian Languages and Cultures. As a 2019-2020 Boren Scholar in Nanjing, China, Ethan completed graduate courses at Nanjing University while researching the impact of sports diplomacy on US-China relations. His interests in public diplomacy and culture have led to numerous academic and professional experiences at the intersections of art, food, and sports, including UNESCO, Battery Dance Company, and the Rwanda Cricket Association. Fae Johnstone is an award-winning 2SLGBTQIA+ advocate and small business owner. She is a social worker and a leading voice for queer and trans rights in Canada. She has spent over a decade campaigning for a more free, just and equal world for queer and trans people.Fae is the executive director and co-owner of Wisdom2Action, a consulting firm specializing in organizational development, community engagement and 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion. She is also the Executive Director of the Society of Queer Momentum, a national queer and trans advocacy organization. In March of 2023, Fae was featured in an International Women’s Day ad campaign by Hershey’s Canada alongside 4 other young women creating change in their communities. Fae was the Grand Marshal of the 2023 Capital Pride Parade in Ottawa. Heela Yoon is the Founder of Afghan Youth Ambassadors for Peace Organization (AYAPO), a grassroots NGO working in the Eastern provinces of Afghanistan focusing on UNSCR 1325 and 2250 and local peacebuilding. Through AYAPO, Heela has trained more than 100 young girls in Nangarhar, Laghman, and Kabul on gender equality, leadership, and first responders to a humanitarian crisis. With her NGO, she has engaged with religious and tribal leaders through community peacebuilding dialogues in the Eastern zone to advocate for Afghan girls' education.She has more than five years of experience working with humanitarian and human rights organizations. I am Ideja Bajra, a 3rd year cell biology student at the University of St Andrews. I have had a passion for STEAM education and advocacy for as long as I can remember, leading to the creation of my non profit, Based In Science, and co-founding a student-led publication, STATIC St Andrews. Recognized as the top 1 student globally among over 150 countries in 2022, he's spoken on international media, including BBC & CNN, advocating for youth empowerment and collaborating with governments on sustainability education programs.Simultaneously, uniting with institutions and incubators worldwide, Igor founded a drone startup in 2020, focusing on global humanitarian demining. His field of interest also includes innovation research to optimize resource utilization in global agriculture through UAV tech.

Imasiku Nyambe is a social economist, entrepreneur, media practitioner, and the founder and director of Imaka Learning. In partnership with Massi Computing College, Imaka provides digital learning solutions in Zambia, improving overall participation and access to education for young people.

Isabelle Eisele has held various roles in the commercial insurance industry bringing in more than 7 years of experience in the P&C (re)insurance field. Jessica Farda is a Swiss entrepreneur who is committed to environmentally friendly packaging solutions. While studying International Relations and Affairs at the University of St. Gallen, she discovered her interest in algae as a sustainable alternative to plastic. Since founding the company Noriware in 2021, she has been developing an algae-based alternative to plastic film. Her goal is to establish sustainable packaging worldwide and thus contribute to reducing plastic pollution.

Jess is a passionate leader in sustainability, with a background in Civil Engineering and Youth Development in Sport. She is currently working across 2 roles, as Sustainability Manager in Global Operations at Bühler AG, and Managing Director of One Young World Switzerland.

At IDEAS, Zongxu plays a crucial role in interdisciplinary research and fostering international networks for collaborative projects.Zongxu's leadership capabilities have been recognized through his role as the head of the Chinese delegation for the 2022 G20 Youth Summit. In 2023, he served as the co-founder of the Tsinghua Global Youth Dialogue. Additionally, as a Global Youth Ambassador for the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC), he actively contributes to global collaboration and sustainable development efforts.

Zvezdana is a first-year master student of Sustainable Resource Management at the Technical University of Munich. She holds a BA in International Studies from the University of Belgrade. Passionate about climate change, Zvezdana has worked at the UN Environment Programme and the World Food Programme, and has been engaged in international climate negotiations since 2022 as an observer.

Zvezdin is an entrepreneur who often thinks about the issues which are eroding our modern civilisation, and attempts to find a functioning and scalable business model which addresses this - combining the impact of NGO-focused work with the scalability and growth potential of modern startups. His current venture revolves around tackling the problem of AI-generated spam, information manipulation, and widespread low-scale fraud by verifying real human users online - in a way which doesn't infringe on online anonymity.
