Mimoza Kusari-Lila

Minister Mimoza Kusari-Lila serves as Minister of Trade, Industry, Entrepreneurship and Innovation of the Republic of Kosovo and is a Member of the Assembly of Kosovo. In this role, she drives economic reforms, promotes private sector development, and advances entrepreneurship and innovation policies. Previously, she served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry, and as the first female Mayor of Gjakova, focusing on governance and post-conflict recovery. In addition, she leads the political party Alternativa and has chaired parliamentary initiatives on environmental policy and democratic development. She is a Fulbright Fellow and Ron Brown Scholar. Kusari-Lila holds an MBA from Duquesne University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Prishtina.
