Wolfram Eilenberger

Wolfram Eilenberger is a philosopher, author and television host at SRF, where he presents the program Sternstunde Philosophie. In this role, he brings philosophical debates to a broad public through television, media appearances and public discussions. He previously served for many years as Editor-in-Chief of Philosophie Magazin. Eilenberger is also a program director of phil.COLOGNE, Germany’s largest philosophy festival. As an internationally bestselling author, his book Time of the Magicians received the Bavarian Book Prize in 2018 and the Prix du Meilleur Livre Étranger in France in 2019 and has been translated into numerous languages. He studied philosophy at Heidelberg University and received his doctorate in philosophy from the University of Zurich.
