Susanne Wille

Susanne Wille is the Director General of SRG, a position she has held since November 2024. A seasoned journalist and media executive, she previously served as Deputy Director of SRF and head of its culture department. She also represented SRF on the management board of 3sat, a collaborative broadcaster of SRG, ARD, ZDF, and ORF. Ms Wille began her journalism career as a video journalist for TeleM1 before joining SRF in 2001 as a reporter and presenter for 10 vor 10. From 2011 to 2016, she worked as a political correspondent for Rundschau, earning multiple awards for her reporting. She later led the digital transformation of SRF’s newsroom and played a key role in the strategy and organizational development process SRF2024. Ms Wille studied history, English, and journalism at the universities of Fribourg, Zurich, and Edinburgh. She holds a master’s degree in business administration from IMD in Lausanne and has specialized in digital strategy and change management.
