Miguel Ángel López Borrego has served as the CEO and Chairman of the Board at thyssenkrupp since June 2023. Thyssenkrupp is a global industrial and technology company, employing over 100,000 people worldwide. In his present position, he holds overall responsibility for the Decarbon Technologies Segment within thyssenkrupp. Prior to his current role at thyssenkrupp, Mr. López was the CEO of Norma Group from 2022 to 2023, and the CEO of Siemens in Spain from 2018 to 2022. Miguel Borrego López earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from DHBW Mannheim and an MBA from the Global MBA Program, which includes studies at universities in Toronto, Erfstadt, Linz, and Shanghai. Additionally, he completed the Siemens Top Management Program in Munich and Singapore.
