Malik Ourari

Malik Ourari is a Member of the 54th International Students’ Committee (ISC) and responsible for Leaders of Tomorrow in Asia and Oceania, where he leads the Global Essay Competition as part of a passionate and collaborative team. In this role, he has had the opportunity to travel to Japan, South Korea, China, and India, connecting with students and universities and helping bring together some of the most inspiring young voices from around the world. Currently studying Law and Economics at the University of St.Gallen, Malik combines academic excellence with a broad range of real-world experiences. Growing up in Bern with Swiss and Tunisian roots, he is a great example of how the Swiss education system offers diverse and flexible paths. He transitioned from vocational training to one of Switzerland’s top universities, and along the way, he has learnt the value of resilience, teamwork, and staying open to new perspectives. Outside of his studies and professional activities, Malik is an enthusiastic football fan. He loves to hike or cycle through Switzerland’s landscapes and is always curious to discover new cultures and places. Comfortable in many settings, Malik brings a quiet attentiveness to his interactions, often creating connection simply by being present and open.
