Jyotiraditya Scindia

Jyotiraditya Scindia currently serves as Union Minister of Communication and Union Minister of Development of the North Eastern Region for the Government of India. Prior to these roles, he served as Union Minister of Civil Aviation and Union Minister of Steel during the second Narendra Modi ministry. Earlier in his public service career, he also held positions as Union Minister of Power, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, and Minister of State for Telecommunications, Posts and IT. A six-term Member of Parliament since 2002, he has represented Madhya Pradesh in both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha. Beyond his government career, Mr Scindia is deeply committed to education. He is the President of the Board of Governors at the Scindia School, Madhav Institute of Technology & Sciences, and Samrat Ashok Technological Institute, and he serves as a Board Member for Scindia Kanya School and Saraswati Sishu Mandir. Mr Scindia holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
