Jazmeen Isa Qureshi

Speaker at the St. Gallen Symposium

Jazmeen Isa Qureshi is a researcher at the Global Sustainability Institute at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), where she is pursuing a PhD through the CAM-DTP programme. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on “Queering Ecology” and entomology, drawing on decolonial and anti-oppression frameworks within conservation and ecological studies. In addition to her academic work, Ms Qureshi collaborates with NGOs and organisations in the fields of regenerative systems, inclusivity, and ecological futurism. She serves as a member of the Regenerative Futures Advisory Group at Unearthodox, contributing her interdisciplinary perspective to envisioning just and sustainable futures. Ms Qureshi’s wider work integrates systems thinking, ancestral ecological knowledge, and queer theory, forming the foundation for her facilitation practice, workshops, and public engagement. She has held roles across research, education, and consultancy, with a consistent focus on social and environmental justice.
