Nelly Attar

Nelly Attar is a Lebanese mountaineer, entrepreneur, trainer, and former psychologist born and raised in Saudi Arabia. She is the first Arab woman to summit K2, the world's second-highest mountain, and has also successfully reached the top of Mount Everest in 2019 as one of the first three Lebanese females. In 2017, Ms. Attar founded Move Studio, Saudi Arabia's first dance studio, which enables women across Saudi Arabia to enjoy the beauty of dance and provides a new way of staying healthy and active. In 2020, the Muslim Women Network named her one of the most influential women in sports, while Sports 360 in 2019 named her the female fitness influencer of the year across the GCC. She holds a Bachelor's degree from the American University in Beirut (Lebanon) and a Master of Research from Kingston University.
