The Team behind the St. Gallen Symposium
The St. Gallen Symposium is organised by the International Students’ Committee, an independent student initiative at the University of St. Gallen. For ten months, about 30 students plan and deliver a world class conference and a year of dialogue. During Symposium week, about 450 volunteers support the team.
The team defines the topic, builds partnerships, curates leaders and runs media and operations. You will work hands on across planning and delivery with real responsibility.

Joining the ISC pushed my career five years ahead. Leading real projects with executives taught me more than any internship ever could.
Can Schnigula, Partner at BCG
This was hands down the best year of my studies. High pressure, real responsibility, and a team spirit you don’t find anywhere else on campus.
Mathias Imbach, Founder & CEO at Sygnum Bank
I walked in as a student, I walked out knowing how to lead, communicate, and deliver under pressure. These skills still pay off every single day at work.
Philipp Navratil, CEO at Nestlé
The ISC gave me a global network, but more importantly the closest friends I made at HSG. You build something meaningful together and that bonds you for life.
